TomTom likes Homer Simpson

Two, three days ago I was reading some blog on which it was announced that TomTom, the GPS device manufacturer, has released a new voice for their devices. This voice which can be downloaded and used with any TomTom GPS device is Homer Simpson’s voice. When I read at first I was thinking is some kind of a joke as Homer Simpson it’s not the most serious voice and in general character from a cartoon, but must admit quite funny.

Like I said, I didn’t take this too seriously, but I was interested to see if it’s true as I do like The Simpson’s. I checked out TomTom’s web page… It was real and I had to get it. Now a GPS device shouldn’t be funny or fun to use, mostly it should make sure you wont get lost and you are on the right track, but the voice is just cracking me up. It’s very cool, I didn’t expected and if any of you will use it, trust me, the trip could end-up very funny… or at least the way.

I wont tell you to get it, as it does cost 10 euros or about 15 dollars, but if you do, you will have a lot of fun with it, especially if you do like The Simpson’s.

The economical crisis and the affects on big companies…

This days the economical crisis hits everyone, including the big companies. Some companies are so hit that they had to even modify their logo in protest of this situation. Apple, Nike, Cisco and other have joined this protest and changed they logos. As the logo’s will show, the situation is really bad, I think is time to do something…

Fun: Farting at work…

A lot of you have strange or funny experiences at work. Some of them you remember, some not, some of them are too much and some just keep on coming back. Something like this happened to me to… well lets say goes into the “what the hell was that?” category.

A couple of days ago, while being on a break for a smoke in the usual place, one guy just drops a big one… but I mean a big one. Now I am not a person who says farting is wrong, you should do it and so on. I mean its a normal thing, which has to be done, but when you do it, at least in public, you have to try to don’t be so obvious, right?!

I don’t know what this guy was thinking, he was with his back to me and to some other people and just farted, he didn’t blink, turn his back, nothing. Now I only have two questions:

1. Did he farted, but expected that the fart will be a quite one? You know those ones which you think you can manage, but when you let them go they will just ripe your pants.

2. He knew it was coming, he knew the power of it and just wanted to let go… maybe see what happens, what reaction the people might have?

I suppose I wont ever find out, its not like I’m gonna go one day to him and ask him about it “You know, some time ago, you drop a big one and was wondering if it was a mistake or you just really want it?”

Well for my closing… Thank God it didn’t smell!
