Crap: Oracle buys Sun

When I believed that everything is gonna work out between IBM and Sun, this falls into place, Oracle buys Sun, something that no one saw it coming. I don’t really have issues with Oracle, but they are not really open source or not as much as I would wish, also I can’t really understand why Oracle bought Sun… I mean Sun are more into OS, some hardware and a lot of Java, unlike Oracle which is more, well actually all database.

Xen vs. OpenVZ

As I wrote in a previous post, I wanna share my conclusion about this two virtualization technologies, Xen and OpenVZ. Even if its kind of late, I still will share this conclusions with you guys. Now both of this technologies are usually used in VPS’s (virtual private servers) and small enterprise environments, well mostly Xen.

Shared hosting and what a load of crap

Now a days on the net you can find hundreds to thousands of web hosting company which most of them offer the same thing, just with a different name or more or less a bit of a different configuration and hosting panel. I do not have any problems with most of this companies, everybody wants to make some money and have their own stuff and maybe opening a company like this can do the job. My problems comes when this hosting companies bullshit with their ads and impressive give-a-ways, which most of the times are not real or true.
