DNS move for robertalks.com

Until now I was paying a service from dnsmadeeasy.com to be able to point my domains to different ip addresses. Now, I don’t really wanna pay anymore. I have 3 servers and this 3 servers can act as name servers also. This also takes time to setup, as I am not the best in the dns area. Now my name servers work, they need some tuning lets say, but they do work and most of my domains are moved already to the new name servers. My problem now comes with robertalks.com, my domain, where I have also my blog. Moving from dnsmadeeasy.com to my own name servers takes a bit of downtime when it comes to resolving the domain. I think it needs like 24-48 hours or so, until its being updated in the root servers or something like that.

The economical crisis and the affects on big companies…

This days the economical crisis hits everyone, including the big companies. Some companies are so hit that they had to even modify their logo in protest of this situation. Apple, Nike, Cisco and other have joined this protest and changed they logos. As the logo’s will show, the situation is really bad, I think is time to do something…

Shopping for a car…

I can’t believe how hard it is… Me and my girlfriend are trying to get a car. Normally this is not a complex task to do, just go and get it, but getting the right car, which you like, which does the job for you, seems to be very complex, especially for us :)

I'm happy, week-end is here :)

Well I don’t know what really to say, just I’m happy the week-end is here and the fact that maybe tomorrow gonna go with my girlfriend to check out some cars… yes its time to buy one. I’m still in the decision making and is so damn hard to make one. I mean there are a lot of options, but also there is “the price”, which sometimes can screw your plans up.
