My Projects

I created a page some time ago related to some projects that I’ve done or I’m doing called obviously projects. Usually this are scripts and tools related to Linux/Unix system, but could be useful for some of you. I do not have the best skills regarding Linux/Unix system, but lets say I’m capable to handle my stuff and most of the times, the scripts which I create help me to deal with some issues, from simple cpu monitoring, mysql optimization or even mysql database backup’s. On the net you will find a lot of scripts which will do this jobs and more very easily, but not all the time they work as you wish.

Easter, Batcache and WP-Super-cache!

This weekend in most religions and countries was Easter. Yes! the holiday which you have eggs and bunnies and it does revolve around Jesus with no relation to eggs and bunnies. A lot of people put this question and try to answer it one way or another, but I don’t think someone really got the answer, What does eggs and bunnies have to do with Jesus?!

Xen vs. OpenVZ

As I wrote in a previous post, I wanna share my conclusion about this two virtualization technologies, Xen and OpenVZ. Even if its kind of late, I still will share this conclusions with you guys. Now both of this technologies are usually used in VPS’s (virtual private servers) and small enterprise environments, well mostly Xen.
